Inter duo Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez will undergo medical checks to evaluate their respective conditions with both of them carrying injuries from Saturday’s win over Bologna, Gazzetta dello Sport report.

Icardi left the field during the warm up face having tweaked a muscle in one of his thighs while Lautaro had a calf problem and was kept on the bench as a precautionary measure in the 3-0 victory at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara,

Despite their injuries, the pair both still travelled to the United States to join the Argentine national team who have two friendlies in California and New Jersey over the international break. It is expected that Icardi will immediately make a return to Milan and undergo his recovery from the comfort of Appiano Gentile while Martinez could well remain and feature in one of the two games.

Radja Nainggolan was forced off the field on Saturday also and while the player has denied that there are any problems, he will still undergo medical testing as a precaution on either tomorrow or Wednesday.
