In an interview with Sport Mediaset, Inter defender Milan Skriniar looked ahead to the begining of Inter’s Champions League campaign but insisted his and his teammates focus is on the match with Parma on Saturday that comes directly before the Champions League opener with Tottenham Hotspur.
“We are waiting for so many difficult challenges, we are ready for this and we want to do well in them. I can not wait to play in Europe in this shirt, but now we have to think about the league and to win in front of our fans on Saturday against Parma and then we will think about Tottenham.”
The Slovakian, who is now in his second season at the Nerazzurri, spoke on Inter’s start to the campaign.
“In Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo we did not do well. Against Torino, we had a very good first half but could not stay focused for the full game. The win against Bologna was very important and we must go on like this.
He concluded the interview by speaking on his personal objectives for the season.
“I want to build upon what I achieved last year. The most important thing is to help the team because Inter must always do better. The team is stronger so we want to achieve important results.”
