Club captain Mauro Icardi and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will soon put pen to paper on new and improved contracts to extend their respective stays at Inter according to a report from Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

There is satisfaction on behalf of all parties involved in negotiations and while the exact details are as yet unknown, it will almost certainly see the duo both receive an increase to their annual pay packets.

Icardi is currently under contract through to the end of the 2020/21 season and is the highest earner in the squad, something he will retain with the new contract.

Brozovic is under contract at San Siro for the same period of time as Icardi is and his contract renewal comes as a reward for his complete transformation in recent months that has seen him find success playing as a regista just in front of the defensive line.
