Inter club captain Mauro Icardi and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic are currently going through two completely opposite moments at the club.

Brozovic currently appears to be untouchable in the team and his late heroics on Saturday meant Inter came back home to Milan from Genoa with all three points as he put in a man of the match performance. Moreover, he is in fine physical condition as evidenced by the fact he has ran more than any other player within the team. A new contract is also understood to be agreed upon and will soon be announced that will see him earn an increased salary and have an improved release clause too.

Icardi meanwhile remains without a goal in four league outings thus far this season and unlike Brozovic is not doing so well on the physical front. He has not looked like his usual self during games and is also struggling to agree to terms over a new contract.
