As part of the match-day programme for this evening’s match with Cagliari, Antonio Candreva was asked what his favourite moves are.

“My favourite movies are Braveheart and The Gladiator. I can not say that on the field I am like William Wallace and Massimo Decimo Meridio though. Everyone has their own characteristics, right?”

The Italian winger then spoke on the importance of the Inter colours to him and San Siro.

“Our colours mean so much for me. Wearing the shirt that has been worn by legendary footballers is a privilege. The San Siro is an amazing, fantastic and exciting stadium. When we score a goal and are playing well, I get this energy inside me that I just simply cannot describe.”

Candreva has went through somewhat of a rejuvenation period in recent weeks at the Nerazzurri and has recovered from being heavily unfavoured at the start of the season to being a starter in recent games.
