Italian pundit Mario Sconcerti discussed Inter’s current run of form as part of his weekly column in newspaper Corriere della Sera off the back of Inter’s sixth consecutive victory across all competitions over SPAL last night.

“Inter has finally solved their problem. They are not obliged to play well, Italian teams do not have to do it. It was enough for them to simply resist before going on to use their quality to score the second goal. I think that could be what Inter have to do as after all they have more quality than 90% of other teams in Serie A. Inter can win between 23-25 games based just on their superiority. To understand Inter fully we have to wait for a direct match against one of the other big sides, for example the Milan derby.”

The Milan derby is the Nerazzurri’s first game back after the international break concludes and is scheduled for a 20:30 CET kick-off on October 21.
