Despite being forced to withdraw from international duty with the Italian national team through injury, Milan duo Alessio Romagnoli and Patrick Cutrone will in fact be available for the Milan derby in just over a week according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The pair are still training separately to their Milan teammates and are following personalised training regimes to aid them in their recovery from a left leg and left ankle injury respectively.

Andrea Conti is also nearing a full recovery and almost took part in the whole session yesterday. The 24-year-old full back has had a torrid time of it with injuries since arriving at the club and has made just a handful of appearances since his arrival back in July 2017.

Mattia Caldara, Ivan Strinic and Riccardo Montolivo are meanwhile all seemingly set to miss out on the match that is scheduled to take place on October 21 with a 20:30 CET kick off.
