Former Inter defender Riccardo Ferri was full of praise for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez in wake of the Argentine striker opening his goalscoring account for the national team in the international friendly match against Iraq.

“He is a modern player, a complete one. He has impressed me. He is also a very versatile attacker. He can play with Mauro Icardi and or he can play up top alone. He has certainly a been a hit at Inter,” Ferri said in an interview with broadcaster RMC Sport.
