Inter defender Milan Skriniar has revealed he would be happy if he was to spend the remainder of his career with the Nerazzurri in an interview with Idnes.cz, where he firstly spoke on his price amid ongoing transfer rumours concerning him.

“I do not know my price. I would talk about it but I would be making a mistake in doing so. There is so much money in football that I do not even think about it. Have Pep Guardiola, José Mourinho and Ernesto Valverde came and told me that they want me at their clubs? No not at all.

“If I stayed for the rest of my career at Inter, like Marek Hamsik has done in Napoli, I would be very happy. Inter are a great club, they are coming out of a crisis period and are back playing in the Champions League.

“I’m still only 23, so I can not say I’m at the top of my game yet. Last year I came to Inter and I found myself at a completely different level. It’s easy to take steps forward, but it’s difficult to maintain certain levels. I have great confidence in myself, not just as a player but as a person too.”

Skriniar also spoke on his first Champions League experience.

“It was something unreal, a fairy tale, I dreamed of playing in the Champions League at least once. Before the match against Tottenham when the Champions League song rang round San Siro, I had goose bumps. Everything was also amplified by the fact that Inter did not play in the Champions League for six years. In the end, the whole stadium shouted the final phrase of the song, ‘The Champions,” together.
