Samir Handanovic reflected upon Inter’s 2-0 loss at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League.

“We were always having to chase them and as a result we lost our lucidity. They set the pace of the game and now we must evaluate ourselves after this game as we thought we would have done a lot more than we did,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Rai Sport after the match at Camp Nou.

The veteran Slovenian shot stopper spoke on the learning curve this result will have for the team as a whole.

“We are disappointed but we can learn more from this game than we have from some victories.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on former Inter loan star Rafinha, who opened the scoring for Barcelona.

“We had a good time with him at Inter. He is a great player and he showed it against us.”
