Joao Mario shared his thoughts and feelings on Inter’s 3-0 win over Lazio, a match in which he made his return to first-team action after a long time out in the cold.

“The team had a great game, we won and the team is going through a beautiful moment and we can continue like this,” the midfielder said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Rai Sport post-match at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Portuguese then spoke on the idea of Inter being the anti-Juventus this season with the win boosting them up to second position in the table.

“It is not easy for us as they are doing their job well and we have to keep doing the same.”

He concluded the interview by thanking his teammates for their support following a difficult few months at the club.

“I want to thank my teammates who helped me a lot because it has been a long time since I have played an official match in this shirt.”
