Andre Pinamonti has revealed that following his late equaliser for loan club Frosinone at the weekend, Inter president Steven Zhang and sporting director Piero Ausilio both messaged him to congratulate him and he also spoke on his dream of replicating Mauro Icardi at Inter.

“Let’s say that after the game I watched the goal a few thousand times and I know the commentary off by heart. There is always a special emotion when scoring and I am very pleased and happy with how the season has started. I got a message from Steven Zhang and Ausilio called me and told me to continue like this,” Pinamonti said in an interview with RMC Sport.

“I think what Mauro is doing is a dream. I’ve had the good fortune to play with him and he’s a great guy, it would not hurt to play together again in the future, but to do that I know I have to keep improving.”

He then spoke on the idea of Inter being the anti-Juventus.

“I have to say that there are various teams that are doing well, the Bianconeri are favourites for the title but both Inter and Napoli can give them a hard time, especially the Nerazzurri who will come close.”

He concluded the interview with the broadcaster by discussing if he thinks he’ll start at San Siro when Frosinone travel to take on his parent club.

“I do not know, we will just have to see what Longo’s choice is.”
