Borja Valero and Lautaro Martinez are set to start for Inter from the first whistle in this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Frosinone according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
With Marcelo Brozovic suspended after his red card in the 4-1 loss to Atalanta, the Spaniard will come in in his place and will play alongside Roberto Gagliardini while Joao Mario will occupy the role of trequartista in behind the striker which in this case will be Lautaro.
Lautaro will replace club captain Mauro Icardi in leading the line in Inter boss Luciano Spalletti’s 4-2-3-1 system which the Milan based newspaper speculate will look like this on the day.
Inter Predicted Line-up (4-2-3-1); Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Dalbert; Roberto Gagliardini, Borja Valero; Antonio Candreva, Joao Mario, Ivan Perisic; Lautaro Martinez.
Inter vs Frosinone is scheduled for a 20:30 CET kick-off on Saturday afternoon and is each side’s first game back after the international break.
