Alessandro Bastoni has insisted he is not thinking about his future and only thinking about improving at the moment following Parma’s 2-0 loss to Roma yesterday.
“I definitely owe a lot to Parma,” the Inter owned youngster stressed in an interview with ParmaLive.com.
“Parma is the first team where I have played with this sort of continuity. I’m happy here and I hope to reach our goal of avoiding relegation. Until we are mathematically safe, our goal has not been reached and we hope to reach it as soon as possible.”
Yesterday’s match afforded Bastoni the opportunity to catch up with former Inter Primavera teammate Nicolo Zaniolo but he insisted that there was no time for that on the pitch.
“We are very close but there are no friendships when on the field.”
He concluded the interview by speaking on the help he has been receiving from veteran Parma defender Bruno Alves and his future.
“Bruno Alves helps me a lot and gives me a lot of advice on how to improve for now I do not think about the future, I think only of Parma and improving.”
