Despite a few mistakes early on in the season, Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has more than made up for it as the season has progressed in the eyes of Gazzetta dello Sport.

On multiple occasions he has saved Inter’s bacon with some unbelievable saves and has recorded a very impressive 11 clean sheets in 20 Serie A games this season. Only Liverpool’s Alisson has kept more clean sheets than Handanovic has in league action in the top five European leagues.

He has made some memorable saves against the likes of Frosinone and Bologna among other sides whilst he has also kept out some of the best strikers in the league over the course of the season.

Inter are currently on a seven game clean sheet streak on home soil in league play dating back to September. Inter last conceded at home on September 25th as they beat Fiorentina 2-1 with central defender Milan Skriniar scoring an own goal on that night.
