Ivan Perisic wishes to leave Inter and the club are at work to satisfy his demands according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter chief executive Beppe Marotta yesterday confirmed the Croatian had expressed a desire to move away from the club amidst strong interest from Premier League side Arsenal.

Time is in Inter’s favour with the transfer window to slam shut on Thursday and they are therefore in a strong position when it comes to negotiating.

Arsenal are willing to pay Inter €5 million to loan him for the remainder of the season with a €40 million redemption option but Inter want it to be an obligation instead.

Perisic has not been at his best this season scoring just three goals and tallying five assists in 25 games across all competitions. Compared to recent season’s Perisic’s play is often unrecognisable and with him soon hitting 30, time is running out for Inter to move him on for a big sum.
