Parma are prepared to step in to assist Inter if Chievo Verona are unable to get a deal agreed for Gabriel Brazao according to a report from Sky Sport transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
Due to being unable to register the Brazilian goalkeeper because of non-EU registration rules in Serie A, Inter have had to find another club to work in unison with in order to sign Brazao immediately.
Whether Chievo Verona get the deal done or Parma step-in, Brazao will spend the next six months on loan with them before completing a switch to Inter in the Summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old shot stopper has drawn interest from a host of clubs around the globe but Inter did not wish to risk waiting until the Summer to try and sign him which has led to the current situation unfolding.
The two-time Brazil under-20 international is currently on the books of Brazilian giants Cruzeiro and other reports have stated that Inter will be signing Brazao for around €2.5 million.
