After the heavy defeat against Bologna at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti had a 20 minute meeting with CEO Beppe Marotta Italian media outlet ANSA report.

According to the report, Marotta wanted to discuss the situation the team is going through with Spalletti, just like he did after the Lazio defeat. The meeting took 20 minutes and was held in the dressing room of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and the discussion focused on how the team will come out of this difficult moment.

What is more important is that, according to the report, no ultimatum was put forward to the former Roma coach but instead the Inter CEO reiterated his faith in Spalletti as the right man to lead the team out of this crisis.

Marotta and Spalletti discussed solutions to the problems that the team are experiencing. Solutions that are yet unknown and which will be set into action starting today.
