During the current international break coach Stramaccioni gave the players who were not called to their national teams two days leave. One of those players was Javier Zanetti who used the sparetime to take his family to Taormina in Sicily. As usual, the captain responded kindly to questions from the people, questions that, of course, was about his work.

Inter ready to win back the Scudetto?

“We are picking up speed, finally. The top of the table is not so far away, Juventus and Napoli are no more than four points away. Coach Stramaccioni is a coach who has clear ideas and a great personality. Scudetto? We believe it is possible.”

Then the captain received questions about the Italian national team:

“I saw the national team’s game. The important thing was to win and Prandelli’s guys succeeded. Taormina? It was Matias Silvestre who advised me to come here. He has always said that this is a piece of paradise, and that it is worth a visit. He played for Catania for several years and is well aware of the most beautiful places in Sicily.”
