When interviewed by Sportpaper.it, Ivan Zazzaroni has been asked the top subject all over Italy the last week, Juventus-Inter. In the interview he chose to emphasize the importance of Andrea Stramaccioni for todays Inter.

After the loss against Inter, will Juventus start to doubt themselves?

“I don’t think so. They knew that sooner or later the run would end, the problem is though that it came against wrong team. But they have shown earlier this season that they have had problems with other teams.”

Are Juventus paying the price of not having Conte on their bench?

“I believe that he is always very present, but sure, some players may suffer from the fact that it’s not him standing there only just the next best thing, which is good, but not as good as the real thing.”

Stramaccioni is doing an amazing work for Inter, did you believe this at the start of the season?

“I really didn’t because last season he didn’t send the same signals he is sending out at the present. I have to say though that now Stramaccioni is very awake and present. An intelligent person who has understood exactly what Inter needs.

Once again the referees were in the spotlight after this weekend, isn’t time for a change?

“If you read what Fabio Monti wrote in Corriere della Sera you’ll understand many things, such as the refs are diveded in two groups, the good and the less good. Then we’re also in the middle of an election for the president position in AIA, Associazione Italiana Arbitri, and this effects everything in a very negative way.”
