Tottenham have joined the queue of clubs hoping to sign unsettled Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder in January.

The Dutchman is expected to leave next month after refusing to sign a new contract lowering his €6m per season wages.

He has not played since September due to injury and this contract dispute.

Sneijder has already been heavily linked with January bids by Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Manchester United, Fenerbahce and BayernMunich.

According to the latest reports, Tottenham are the latest club to consider a proposal for the 28-year-old former Real Madrid star.

Sneijder would bring creativity to a Spurs midfield that lost Rafael Van DerVaart and Luka Modric over the summer.
