According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter president Steven Zhang could not believe what was happening as he watched on at the end of Inter’s 3-3 draw away to Fiorentina.
Fiorentina were awarded a controversial penalty deep in to stoppage time at the end of the game at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Referee Rosario Abisso judged the ball hit Inter’s Danilo D’Ambrosio in the arm. He was advised to take another look at it with VAR but despite spending a considerable time reviewing the footage, he upheld his decision, a decision that would result in Inter ultimately dropping two points.
