Despite the possibility of a romantic return for Jose Mourinho at Inter, the Nerazzurri management are aiming for other managers in the event that a decision is taken to change manager at the end of the season, La Repubblica report.

Mourinho famously led Inter to the Triplete before departing for Real Madrid just after. Inter fans still hold Mourinho dearly for what he achieved first time round but many of them are aware that it would be nigh-on impossible for him to replicate or even better his first spell which would thus damage his legacy.

La Repubblica go on to state that Inter have other names in mind with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte among them.

The Rome based newspaper have also touched upon the ongoing drama between Inter and Mauro Icardi.

The Nerazzurri are looking to avoid any legal battle due to the situation and despite a number of teammates calling for him to return, he seems disinterested.
