Tuttosport have revealed the reasoning behind Keita Balde not travelling with the Inter squad to Frankfurt for tonight’s match with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Senegalese winger is now back in full training with teammates following his recovery from a thigh injury but Inter manager Luciano Spalletti and the Inter medical staff decided it was best for him to not travel and continue to train with a view of possibly featuring against SPAL.
The Turin based newspaper do not expect the 23-year-old to feature from the start in Sunday’s encounter but instead predict that he will come on a substitute for Lautaro Martinez later in the game.
The report goes on to state that Inter hope that Radja Nainggolan’s latest injury set-back can be resolved in the coming week ahead of the Milan derby in 10 days time while full back Danilo D’Ambrosio has recently been playing through the pain barrier due to carrying a slight injury.
