Steven Zhang could take part in the next meeting in a bid to solve the ongoing soap opera involving Mauro Icardi and Inter according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

The situation has now lasted almost an entire month and as per various reports, the end seems far from near.

In recent days and weeks there have been multiple meetings between Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and Icardi and his wife/agent Wanda Icardi. The Icardi’s have even employed a lawyer to help assist in trying to resolve the solution.

The report from Corriere della Sera goes on to state that Zhang’s presence in a future meeting would be highly appreciated by the Icardi’s and it could well help speed up the solution process.

The report concludes that the chances of Icardi making a return to action this week are not very high and that he will not get an operation to solve his knee problem that has been the official reason given behind his absence.
