Marcelo Brozovic should be available for selection for this weekend’s Milan derby according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

The Croatian midfielder limped off the field during the first half of Inter’s 2-0 win over SPAL at the weekend and underwent testing today which showed the muscle injury he sustained was not serious.

While unlikely to feature against Eintracht Frankfurt, his presence will come as a huge boost to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti no doubt.

As for Miranda, there is a chance that he will also be available for Sunday’s spectacle.

The Brazilian broke his nose in Sunday’s game and underwent successful surgery earlier today to correct the problem. It can be presumed that if he does make it, it will be with a protective mask.

It remains to be seen if Mauro Icardi will make a return to action although various other reports in the media suggest that it is unlikely that the Argentine will be back.
