Inter legend Evaristo Beccalossi has commented on the ongoing soap opera between Inter and striker Mauro Icardi in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.
“Inter were clear and they did what they had to do. Now it is up to Icardi,” he explained.
“I am not in the position where I know exactly what happens but certainly there is a need to think first of all about the good of the team.
“There is a Champions goal to pursue for next season, at the end of the year will see what happens.
“For now talk of a possible exchange with Paulo Dybala is premature. In any case, Inter has always had clear ideas, and with Marotta I believe they have been further specified but I repeat that now Inter counts, not the individual.”
Beccalossi then spoke on Inter linked Sandro Tonali.
“He is a boy I know very well, he has been with me in the Under 19s, and I like him very much. I think it is good to see that the national team manager Mancini is also focusing on the new generation: he must show trust in young players.”
