Inter’s Belgian midfielder, Radja Nainggolan, had the following to say about tonight’s game against Frosinone when he spoke to Sky Sport shortly after the final whistle.

“Maybe we thought it would be too easy tonight. These type of games are difficult, especially if you lose your concentration, only for a short while.

“You have a lot to lose with an opponent that puts every force they have on the field. After they scored the 2-1 goal we were a bit in trouble, then we managed to finally close the game.

“I have always tried to do my best, unfortunately I have had some injuries that have kept me from doing that. But the most important thing is to give 100% when you get the chance to play.”

He then looked at next weekend’s game against his former employers Roma.

“It is a six pointer against one of the top teams next weekend, but it is the same for them. I am sorry that I have to play against them, I have so many memories from my time at Roma and I have many friends there. But this is how football is, now I am an Inter player and I give my best for this jersey but I respect where I have played.”
