Inter manager Luciano Spalletti and his staff are certainly doing everything that they can to ensure they remain at the club amidst continued media speculation that they will be removed from their positions come the end of the current campaign, a report from La Repubblica details.

“Luciano Spalletti and his staff are doing everything to complicate the club’s plans for next year. With the three points against Frosinone, despite signs of panic in the game, Inter strengthened their position in 3rd place maintaining the advantage over Milan and extending their advantage over Atalanta and Lazio,” the report from the Rome based newspaper begins.

Former Italian national team manager Antonio Conte, who was most recently at Chelsea, has been strongly linked to succeed Spalletti and co. at the club and La Repubblica go on to add: “And with the league table like this, please explain to Inter’s fans that another coach will take over, maybe Antonio Conte who has delivered results but who is too much Juve for the people of Milano.”
