Inter have decided that they will sell Mauro Icardi in the Summer transfer window and they are working hard to ensure that they do not devalue Icardi between now and then according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Milan based newspaper have also looked at the coaching situation. Antonio Conte is a credible option to succeed current Inter manager Luciano Spalletti but in order for his arrival to become a reality, his salary demands must be suitable to Inter as must his project for the team.

In the meantime, Inter do not wish to undermine the coach as he attempts to lead Inter to Champions League qualification for the second successive season.

As per the report, Inter have a number of targets in mind when it comes to the Summer. A top midfielder is high on their wishlist and Inter have drawn links to Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and most recently Ilkay Gundogan. Edin Dzeko’s name has been mentioned as a possible Icardi replacement while the Nerazzurri could also invest in young players such as Nicolo Barella and Sandro Tonali.
