According to Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are negotiating with Manchester City for their Brazilian international right back Danilo.

The Brazilian has already given the go-ahead for the transfer, now Inter must find an agreement with City, which should not be impossible.

“Danilo, who arrived at Manchester in the Summer for 2017 for €30 million, earns €4.5 million net per season until the end of June 2022. It would cost Inter between €20 and 25 million to acquire the player, which is well over the €17.5 million that they had planned to spend last Summer for the redeeming Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid.”

“Before joining City, Antonio Conte’s Chelsea were also trying to convince Danilo into joining them, but he preferred Guardiola’s team.”

The alternative would be Matteo Darmian who would cost much less compared to the Brazilian.

“Compared to Danilo, Darmian has the advantage of representing a much more profitable business from a financial point of view. It would only cost Inter around €10 million to sign Darmian from Manchester United.”
