Inter chief Beppe Marotta wants the Nerazzurri’s squad to be full of ‘impeccable professionals’ next season, according to Corriere della Sera.

Marotta is due to oversee his first major transfer window since joining the Nerazzurri this summer and remains keen on organising a swap deal with Juventus for Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala.

Antonio Conte’s name continues to be linked with the club, too, as Inter remain undecided on whether they should confirm Luciano Spalletti for the following season.

“It’s up to Marotta to decide what path Inter should follow to create a winning group for next year,” Corriere reported today.

“Underpinning all of his plans is the desire to create a group of players who have great human qualities and are impeccable professionals.”

Spalletti remains in the dark over his future at the club but told reporters yesterday he is focused exclusively on tonight’s match against Udinese.

Inter would all but secure Champions League football for next season with a win at the Dacia Arena.
