In an interview with Inter TV following Inter’s 2-0 triumph over Chievo Verona, Radja Nainggolan stressed the need for Inter to ‘continue fighting’ with them now just three points away from securing Champions League football for next season.

“There are two games left to play. It is important to score points to stay ahead of the others. I have been repeating this for weeks,” he began.

“It only depends on us. We are all together and we have to continue fighting to achieve our goal. We are united.

“We have a small advantage over the others and it is up to us to keep it to the end.”

He then discussed the game and praising the performances of some of his fellow midfielders.

“The game became easier once we scored the first goal. Borja Valero is a great player, Gagliardini played well too and Vecino is dynamic and a fighter. Each of them made their contribution to the team.”

He concluded: “Roma and Milan can still score six more points each so we will go to play in Naples.”
