Kwadwo Asamoah has shared his thoughts and feelings following Inter’s 2-0 victory over already relegated Chievo Verona at San Siro last night.

“We knew that it was not going to be a simple game but we are happy to have achieved a positive result. It is a game in which we could have lost points but instead it gives us even more energy to reach our goal.

“We cannot think of ourselves as being favourites. The important thing is to give our best in the last two games of the season in order to reach our goal. There are not many points between us and the others and we cannot miss anything.

“Our goal is very important to us as a team. We want the Champions League, we do not think of anything else.”

In conclusion he was asked what Inter need to cut the gap with Juventus: “First let’s think about qualifiying for the Champions League, then we’ll think about that later.”
