Inter could sell as many as seven first-team players this summer as they prepare to revamp their squad for new boss Antonio Conte, Corriere dello Sport reported today.

Conte is all but certain to replace Luciano Spalletti as the Nerazzurri’s head coach and would like to play with the 3-5-2 system he used to such great effect at Juventus.

Dalbert, Joao Mario, Antonio Candreva, Cedric, Keita Balde, Borja Valero and Miranda are all expected to leave the club as the Italian redesigns the squad in his image.

Other members of the first team, meanwhile, will become important figures, with Conte set to be reunited with Kwadwo Asamoah after working with the Ghanaian at Juventus.

“Asamoah was one of Conte’s stalwarts in Turin, arriving in time for his second season and providing balance on the left wing,” the Rome-based paper recalled.

Inter have already signed Diego Godin from Atletico Madrid and continue to pursue Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa and Manchester United outcast Romelu Lukaku.
