Inter’s Curva Nord have released a statement ahead of this weekend’s season finale at home to Empoli in which they take another dig at Mauro Icardi.
“NO EXCUSES, NO FORGIVENESS, ON SUNDAY PLAY WITH BALLS,” it begins.
“We will support you as if we were back in Madrid but in the end it will either be a party or a war!!!”
“The dressing room has abundantly expressed to exclude number 9 [Icardi] and the Curva Nord have decided to follow their choice persuaded by the importance of a group that if they disregard their individual ambition, we are convinced that you can build a future around.
“The locker room has to take responsibility and show everyone that the choice was made for the good of Inter and not for spite or group whims.
“As already said we will give everything to support Inter but if you fail to achieve the goal, the battle will no longer be to drive away only Icardi but for a total revolution asking for the exclusion of all those who have affected this season in a negative way. In spite of this, we remain confident that we can still end the season by achieving the important goal that we would certainly not fail to celebrate
