Hertha Berlin midfielder Valentino Lazaro remains favourite to occupy Inter’s right wing-back position next season, according to Tuttosport.

Inter held a two-hour transfer summit in Milan last night with club president Steven Zhang the only man missing from the meeting.

Lazaro will cost €20-25 million but is a more probable option than any other target the Nerazzurri are pursuing, including Federico Chiesa, Alessandro Florenzi, Kieran Trippier, Manuel Lazzari and Juan Cuadrado.

The club also agreed during the summit to speak to Roma about left-back Aleksandar Kolarov, although neither Beppe Marotta nor Piero Ausilio is willing to spend much money for the Serbian.

Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella and Kolarov’s Roma teammate Edin Dzeko remain Inter’s priorities for the coming days, with Antonio Conte keen to secure both players as soon as possible.

Mauro Icardi, Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic’s futures remain in doubt, meanwhile, with other reports suggesting Conte does not want any of them at the club anymore.
