Stefano Sensi will become an Inter player at the start of next week after Inter struck an agreement with his current employers Sassuolo for his transfer according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The two clubs met at Inter’s newly opened headquarters and ironed out the details of the deal that will see Sensi swap Neroverdi for Nerazzurri.

Sensi will initially join Inter on loan, which will cost them €5 million and they have an option to turn his stay at the club permanent for a sum of €20 million.

As part of the deal, Primavera talent Marco Sala will head to the MAPEI Stadium outfit in addition to the loan of defender Andrew Gravillon.

23-year-old Sensi will undergo his Inter medical on either Tuesday or Wednesday  and upon successful completion of the medical, he will put pen-to-paper on his Inter contract.

Sensi’s arrival will be Inter’s third foray into the transfer market having already completed a deal for Diego Godin and being on the verge of completing a deal for Valentino Lazaro too.
