Tomorrow Inter are counting on setting up a meeting with Manchester United to discuss the possibility of signing Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
According to the report, during this meeting Inter once again present their offer of a two season long loan for €10 million together with a forced option to buy set at €60 million to be paid out over three years.
The reasoning behind the meeting is that the Nerazzurri want to see if they can convince Manchester United to accept their offer.
So far, Manchester United has declined the offer, at least during this stage of the transfer window, but new Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte wants to have the former Everton and Chelsea striker in Lugano by July 7th, when Inter’s pre-season training camp kicks off.
Lukaku has recently been very positive when asked about Antonio Conte branding the former Chelsea and Juventus coach as being the best in the world.
