Inter have denied they will meet Wanda Nara to discuss Mauro Icardi’s future before preseason starts next week, according to Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri are not on good terms with the forward’s wife and agent as they desperately seek to sell their former captain.
Icardi will begin training as normal under Antonio Conte next week but he is out of the club’s plans for this season.
The striker is convinced Juventus will make their move to sign him as soon as they have freed up space in attack.
Wanda met the Bianconeri’s sporting director Fabio Paratici in Ibiza recently, confirming Juve are the only likely destination for Icardi at present.
The Old Lady must find a buyer for Gonzalo Higuain before they can go all-in for Maurito, though, amid reported interest Roma and Atletico Madrid.
Higuain is reluctant to join another Italian club following an unsuccessful spell with Milan last year, preferring a return to England after his loan spell at Chelsea.
Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi appeared to confirm the Giallorossi’s interest in Pipita yesterday, but he also refused to rule out a move for Icardi himself.
