There is currently a complete stalemate in talks between Inter and Roma over the possible transfer of striker Edin Dzeko according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have identified the Bosnian striker as an ideal addition for their team ahead of the coming season but have struggled to reach an agreement with the Giallorossi.
Inter value the veteran striker at €10 million but Roma have remained firm with their €20 million demand for him, despite the fact he has just one year left to run on his contract in the Italian capital.
The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that as things stand, it is difficult to foresee any movement in the short-term.
This past season Dzeko, who can count Manchester City and Wolfsburg as former clubs, made 40 appearances across all competitions. In 3169 minutes on the field, he netted 14 goals and provided 11 assists for teammates.
