Antonio Conte will be formally presented to the media today as he holds his first press conference since being appointed as Inter manager last month.

Ahead of the press conference, Gazzetta dello Sport have examined the former Italian national team manager’s philoshopy and his methods.

The new coach has already changed Inter, returning enthusiasm to the whole environment, after the somewhat depressing ending last season. The resounding speed with which the season ticket campaign sold out was the first signal of how the fans are feeling,” it begins.

“The club has become attractive again for top players like Romelu Lukaku. Not everything is thanks to Conte but his winning history is certainly an attraction.

“From his early days in charge he has pushed to build a working environment the way he likes it; collected, cohesive, watertight, controlled and organised.”

As for his methods, the Milan based newspaper go on to detail the following.

“From tomorrow, work will begin in Lugano with a double session prepared for the team, who will all get to know the methods and ideas of Conte.

“All the changes that have been made have been aimed at increasing performances and even when working on tactics it will be done at high intensity. Conte wants his Inter to be physically strong but possess speed and height. He has designed a fairly precise project which has led to clear ideas when it comes to transfers.

“The first opportunity for him to use his 3-5-2 system will come on Sunday 14 July giving Conte six days from tomorrow, to get his methods drilled into the team.”
