An unnamed member of Mauro Icardi’s representatives has spoken to TuttoNapoli.net on the latest concerning a possible move to the Partenopei for their client.

Icardi, who has been told he has no future at Inter, has drawn links to both Juventus and Napoli in recent weeks and this member of his entourage has revealed it has been some time since there was any form of contact with Napoli.

“For now we are still. The last time there was contact came 20 days ago,” they said.

Icardi has been with Inter since 2013 but his time with the club is almost certainly up following a series of unsavoury events this past season which meant there was a complete collapse in relations between him and the club.

Despite having a €110 million release clause in his contract – which in fact expires at the end of today – reports have suggested that Inter are looking for between €60-70 million for the 26-year-old forward.
