Gabriel Brazao’s entourage arrived in Spain today to complete the Inter goalkeeper’s loan move to Albacete, according to FcInterNews.it.
The 18-year-old will join the second division side on a season-long loan deal, without any option to purchase him on a permanent basis.
Various other clubs were interested in Brazao, both in Italy and abroad, but Albacete appear to have won him over by assuring he will get consistent game-time.
“The parties only need to sort out the final details of their agreement and there is optimism that will happen in the next few days,” the site reported.
Brazao’s agents will not even need to return to Milan to discuss the agreement with Inter, given it is so close to completion.
It is their hope the Brazilian will finally get the chance to show his worth in Europe, having not played at all during his first six months in Italy.
Parma sold Brazao to Inter for €6.6 million last month, having signed the keeper from Cruzeiro in January.
