Romelu Lukaku’s agent could not hide his delight this afternoon after the striker officially completed a move to Inter.
Manchester United finally accepted a €65+10 million offer yesterday after a series of frantic negotiations in London.
Federico Pastorello played a pivotal role for Inter during talks and was spotted leaving the club’s offices this afternoon.
“Everyone worked very hard and in the end we managed to get this deal done,” he told FcInterNews.it among others.
“We’re very satisfied because this is one of those deals which makes everyone happy when it happens. Inter tried to sign Lukaku three times and they were successful at the third attempt.”
Pastorello assured Lukaku was ‘very happy’ about completing his switch from the Premier League, but said he had not had time to speak with Antonio Conte.
The Nerazzurri’s head coach made it clear from the beginning of this summer that Lukaku was his first choice in attack, and at last he has got his man.
Lukaku scored 15 goals in all competitions for United last season as they finished sixth in the Premier League and reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
