Inter legend Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bergomi is convinced that if Juventus are to win the Serie A title again this coming season, it will be their hardest yet.
“Juve is still ahead of everyone else but this season will not be a foregone conclusion. When you change the team’s DNA and bring in a coach like Maurizio Sarri, at the beginning it is a bit hard and rsiky and this will give a small advantage to the others,” he told La Stampa.
He then went on to discuss who he thinks will run the Bianconeri closest.
“For now Napoli convinces me more. They do still need a striker or someone who can score goals from outwide though.
“Inter have a real guarantee in Antonio Conte but are missing something on the wings. The defence was already strong whilst Barella and Sensi’s arrivals have added quality in the midfield.”
He then went on to discuss where is the best place for Inter outcast Mauro Icardi to go.
“Is Icardi more useful for Juventus or Napoli? Juve has shown they can win without him but he Napoli or Roma would be perfect.”
