Inter’s academy striker Eddie Salcedo could join Verona on a season-long loan this month, according to Sky Sport.
The newly-promoted club are looking for reinforcements in attack and have identified the 17-year-old as a new target.
Salcedo spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Inter from Genoa, before being signed on a permanent basis in June.
He will continue to play with Armando Madonna’s Primavera side if he does not move elsewhere before 2 September.
Salcedo scored 13 goals in all competitions last year as Inter’s under-19s finished second in the Campionato Primavera, losing the grand final against Atalanta.
The Italian-Colombian was linked with a return to Genoa earlier this summer, but the Grifone seem to have withdrawn their interest.
Verona were promoted back to Serie A at the first time of asking after defeating Cittadella in a dramatic play-off final.
They have since appointed Ivan Juric as their new head coach, who gave Salcedo his debut in Serie A two years ago.
