Matteo Politano’s agent today confirmed the forward will not leave Inter this summer.
Fiorentina were strongly linked with Politano in recent weeks as Inter continued talks with the Viola to resign Cristiano Biraghi.
But Davide Lippi insisted there was no chance his client would be changing clubs before the transfer window shuts.
He told Sky Sport: “Politano will stay at Inter, the club have confirmed he is not for sale. Even though the window is still open I think he’ll remain there.
“He has never been for sale, so it goes without saying that Antonio Conte does not want to get rid of him.”
Politano scored six goals in his debut campaign last season, having completed a loan move from Sassuolo last summer.
He made his move to the Nerazzurri permanent in June, when Inter exercised an option to buy for €20 million, but is thought by some to be unsuited to Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
