Juventus are preparing a cash-plus-player offer to Inter for Mauro Icardi before Monday’s transfer deadline, according to FcInterNews.it.
Fabio Paratici will bid €40 million and include Mario Mandzukic and Blaise Matuidi in the deal, both of whom are surplus to requirements in Turin.
Inter are beginning to consider the idea of selling Icardi to their arch rivals, but the Nerazzurri want at least €60-70 million in cash or a straight swap with Paulo Dybala.
Juventus would prefer to sell La Joya abroad, but the impression is that anything could still happen during the next 72 hours.
Icardi has rejected offers in the last few days from Napoli, Monaco and Atletico Madrid, having previously turned down Arsenal, Roma and Beijing Gouan.
Paratici is the only person who has secured any kind of interest from Maurito, having helped bring him to Italy in 2012 while he was working for Sampdoria.
Icardi was absent from Inter’s team dinner last night as Antonio Conte’s players gave a warm welcome to all their summer arrivals.
He has yet to accept the idea he must leave the club this summer, but nothing can be excluded until the window shuts on Monday night.
