Roberto Mancini looks set to prefer Nicolo Barella to Stefano Sensi for Italy’s upcoming match against Armenia according to a report from Sky Sport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte has preferred Sensi to Barella in his Inter starting eleven this season but the two players roles look set to be reversed on the international stage.

Sensi has started, and starred, in both of Inter’s Serie A games this season whilst Barella has had to settle for two substitute appearances.

The report from the broadcaster states that Barella, who arrived at Inter this Summer from fellow Serie A side Cagliari, is set to be one of the three midfielders in Mancini’s 4-3-3 system for Thursday night’s fixture that will be played at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in the Armenian capital of Yerevan.

Italy predicted starting line-up (4-3-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Alessandro Florenzi, Leonardo Bonucci, Alessio Romagnoli, Emerson Palmieri; Nicolo Barella, Jorginho, Marco Verratti; Federico Chiesa, Andrea Belotti, Stephan El Sharawaay.
